Dear Friends,
I have been truly honored to serve Tempe as a member of the City Council. I do not have to begin to tell you about all of the monumental challenges that we have faced. However we have faced them together by working to balance our budget while protecting Tempe's high quality of life. We have fought hard to protect public safety, preserve the character of our neighborhoods and ensure that Tempe is prepared for a vibrant, sustainable future.
We are now beginning to see Tempe's economy steadily rebound. However, given the hurdles we still face, it will be important to continue to make the right choices. We must renew our commitment to support our longtime residents who represent the backbone of our community while welcoming newcomers who have chosen Tempe because of all we know it has to offer.
I ask for your vote so I can continue to serve you. I want to continue making a difference for Tempe by supporting our local business community, revitalizing neighborhood shopping centers, and improving park and alley maintenance. Together, we can continue to make sure that Tempe is the place to be in all of Arizona.
